wcm Platform for ASP.net


General

In order to become more transparent regarding future releases, WebCampaignManager.com decided to maintain a public Product Roadmap.
Through this section we want to give you details on what to expect from us in the next product versions and to show our commitment to constant quality improvement.
 

Releases

  • The first release of wcm version 1.3 has been released on the 10 April 2007.
  • wcm 2.0 has been released on the 13 October 2007. The key highlights include:
    • Designed for Microsoft .net framework 2
    • Enhanced security
    • New reporting export engine for MS-Word & MS-Excel
    • New Chart Engine
    • New redesigned user interface and full integration with the latest version of telerik's RAD Controls for ASP.net
    • Full cross modern browser support (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari)
      All  modern browsers are fully supported

Future Products

  • wcm Server Edition (SE)
    This version targets web hosting companies, web design companies, consultants, software integrators, email marketing services providers  who require a centralized installation of wcm for all their clients.
    The key highlights include:
    • Multiple domain support
      One installation of wcm will serve multiple domain names.
    • Each domain will behave as a standalone wcm installation
    • Multiple database type support. Each domain in the wcm SE will use a separate database (so clients can have their own individual backups) and the databases can be either SQL Server 2000 - 2005 or MS-Access
    • Licensing policy and pricing will vary depending on the number of the supported domains.

Microsoft's .net technology commitment

  • WebCampaignManager.net is currently developed under Microsoft's .Net Framework 2.0 using Visual Studio .net 2005.
