The Queue is the mechanism provided by the system that offers consistent newsletter sending management even when a power failure or restart to the server occurs
Instead of sending the newsletters directly to the subscribers Web Campaign manager.net is using the Queue as a temporary repository of messages and offers to administrators various functionalities and information related to management and debugging.
The queue can be automatically or manually emptied depending on the administrator’s decisions and needs.
Automate the Empty Queue process by installing the Queue Regulator on your server or even another pc that sends commands to your web server.
It is recommended to install the Queue management Windows service when you deal with large mailing lists or if your provider does not permits you sending large bulks of emails.
Queued items can be scheduled to be sent later, paused or prioritized in order to have full control of the empty queue process.
Web Campaign Manager comes with a powerful Scheduler enabling simple and complex scheduled scenarios.
You can schedule to send a newsletter at a specific time in the future to one or more lists of a campaign.
You can prioritize the action so it is going to be higher or lower served than other scheduled tasks (a great advantage when you need to send an important newsletter and you have other campaigns scheduled to be loaded in the queue).
You can enable email notifications whenever a scheduled job has been activated.
You can schedule an event that will repeat itself in time. For example you can schedule to send the newest newsletter in a campaign. You can even order the newsletters in a campaign and send them consecutively at scheduled intervals.
You can even add tags to your newsletters and send at scheduled intervals randomly selected newsletters that contains one of the specified tags. By default wcm will not send a second time the same newsletter to the same campaign.
By default a newsletter has to be approved in order to be selected by a scheduled recurring job.
Any scheduled event can be paused to be enabled again at any time in the future.
The built in bounce manager will offer you a secure way to keep your mailing lists clean by tracing the mail addresses that bounced
In the internet's standard e-mail protocol SMTP, a bounce message, or (failed) Delivery Status Notification (DSN) message, aka Non-Delivery Report/Receipt (NDR), Non-Delivery Notification (NDN), or simply a bounce is an automated electronic mail message from a mail system informing the sender of another message about a delivery problem. The original message is said to have bounced.
There are many reasons why an e-mail may bounce. One reason is if the recipient address is misspelled, or simply does not exist on the receiving system. This is a user unknown condition. Other reasons include resource exhaustion — such as a full disk — or the rejection of the message due to spam filters.
Scan any POP3 mailbox or folder containing eml files for soft or hard bounce information
Use of encrypted header information in the emailed newsletters in order to trace them on the mailbox
You can extend the bounce signature xml file to track even more bounced emails
You can delete or set the bounced subscribers to an unverified status
Form Generator for automatic creation and integration of customized sign up forms for your web sites
Automatically generate the HTML code for a subscription form for a multiple mailing lists and add it to your web page.
Choose the fields you want to include in the form and generate standard html code.
Give web access to your clients to mage their account. The subscriber can either use an encrypted url in a newsletter to access his account or via a login page requesting his username and password.
Database Explorer is a powerful tool that allows access to external MS-Access or SQL Server Databases

record searching, editing and filtering

synchronize subscriber data from external databases (update with the differenced)
web campaign manager database direct access (allows direct sql execution on the internal database)
